VIDEO PRIMER |
Video production is a lot like building a house: they both start with an idea and require lots of planning and skilled artisans to turn that idea into a physical reality. We use the word "artisan" because art is just as much a part of the process as anything, perhaps more so when it comes to video production.
Just as there are three main steps in building a house - design, construction and finishing - there are also three main steps in producing a video program: preproduction (planning), production (shooting) and postproduction (editing). Distribution might almost be considered as a fourth step, although technically it isn't really a part of the production process. But just as location is an important consideration in the design of a house, the "end use" (i.e. DVD, Internet, cable, broadcast, etc.) is always a primary factor in video production. STEP 1 - PREPRODUCTION
Scripting is also important, whether it's a simple outline or a full-fledged shooting script. The script is the blue print for the video and should, at the very least, outline the major points of your message. We've been producing video programs for over 20 years and we're here for help when you need it. STEP 2 - PRODUCTION
ZIBI Video has the experience, the equipment and the resources to help you realize your video project. STEP 3 - POSTPRODUCTION
